A glycerin sleeve sits around the chamber and goes in the freezer for an hour once you have filled it. Glycerin holds cold far longer than water or ice, so the smoke is chilled the whole way through rather than for the first two pulls. Underneath it, a six-arm tree perc handles the diffusion.
